MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee cop was being focused by online dangers Tuesday from individuals who say he lethally shot the dark man whose demise has started brutality in the city.

Police haven't discharged the name of the officer who shot Sylville Smith on Saturday, yet broadly shared online networking posts and no less than one news report distinguished him as a 24-year-old patrolman. Numerous posts contained dangers against him and a photograph.

The office said in an announcement Tuesday it has seen an "aggravating national pattern" in which online networking clients have distinguished officers required in lethal shootings and undermined them and their families. A representative declined to affirm the character being coursed on the web.
